Evolution of Thought in Rhythmatic form (not a rap)

The older I get the further I fall out of the dream and into reality, I speak the truth amongst people and they tend to get mad at me, they say the way I talk could be classified as blasphemy, when I say faith in god, is belief in yourself, those hardcore religious folks say I need help, I just believe that we was giving the tools, fine working machines, and prayer just tighten the screws, as a young man I was afraid of my views, but I got a little living under my belt, did a little studying to understand why I felt how I felt, see its hard for me to believe in the written words of another man, who felt the need to oppress another man, long before thieves entered the mother land, where life had already began, but than erased that, then try to sale me something I know isn't fact....then chalk it up to faith...

I love ya'll....so don't get lost in the word,use your faith to power your belief in self, prayer without action is just begging.....

Niggas in Paradise

Now everyone trippin about a lil tweet of the "N" word,....smh...stop it, it is really not that serious...One she tweeted Niggas, with a picture of her one stage with her friends performing their song "Niggas in Paradise...now given that information let's you know it wasn't tweeted with malice intent, further more, the word Nigga was created with in the urban Hiphop culture to combat the derogatory word Nigger which white America had placed upon our head, but with us being so sensitive and dramatic, we have given even more strength to this word, anything close or similar is taboo...crazy thing is we have accepted two of the most degrading classifications that could be, why not boycott the label of Blacks...I am not black my skin is brown, why not be super offended when we hear colored, I my skin doesn't change colors, even the word Negro, that's just foreign for black....come on my people we have done this "N" thing to long let's get a new argument...white folk don't set back and accept white, no ask them and they will tell you, I am French, English, Scotish, German, Spanish..etc...shit I will no longer classify my self as black, my nationality is not a color, I am American...Thank You...Niggas...

Spoils or Plight of the American Athlete

$2,000,000.00 home, $300,000.00 car, $80,000.00 watch...wait $80,000.00 watch!!!...yeah that's more than the average American make in 2 years...yet this is spent on a valueless object like a wrist watch and why you say...well let me explain.  The face of the American super athlete resembles the face of past American poverty, current under educated America...how can a 20 year old who has learned to survive on under $25,000.00 a year manage a super size increase in money, right they can't....how does a 20 year old who values $120 pair of jordans know not to purchase that $80,000.00...right they don't....see these athletes are encouraged to leave our university early or bypass them altogether, just to gain financial prowess, to elevate a family that has smartly balanced themselves on minimum dollars, just to have the educated predators suck them dry because the lack of understanding of how to operate in this new financial bracket...so when you look at the high price spoiled young troublesome American athlete please realize its by American design......

Alone in my Thoughts

Life is this complex series of riddles and puzzle intertwined to create some meaning, yet when all solved it begins the ending of this physical being, just to start an even more beautiful enigma....wow...with something so complex it could be hard to enjoy the simple things...a wise man once told me, " Things with little meaning tend to make life fuller, while those we believe to have meaning drains the energy of life.", who am I kidding I am that wise man it is my saying.  Love, Like, Lust....simple words with simple meanings yet thrust in emotional contexts become these enormous entities, of explosives...now I am not a man without feeling, a man without dreams, but my fantasy is nothing more than me letting go briefly of my reality yet keeping it anchored to actuality...I've loved and I've lost, i've lost and I've loved...but to it all I still loved..the pain is to have that questioned, it's hard to know a person true...since we can't pull back the flesh and muscle..and look at a man's soul..never regret intentions, just sadden by interpretations.....

My Lakers

Yeah the season is over, yeah we lost to a younger, faster and hungry team.  Congrats to OKC....Now with that out the way let's point fingers.  Blame there's plenty of that to go around.  Let's start with management...the hiring of Mike Brown..first mistake...as a coach he is right up there at the top, but his one flaw, was and has been LA greatest need...In game coaching...it showed in the Denver series and ultimately ended in the OKC series..we won't stop there, the giving in to Lamar Odom, nobody wants me tantrum and sending away probably our only true playmaker, a proven winner in our system two times over for what amounted to nothing but a failed moral victory by not shipping him to a losing situation while creating one for yourself...Metta World Peace...I don't blame everyone is quick to blame him but I think he played within himself, its just not much left...Bynum, you want to be a star, you want to be a force...that all begins mentally..you have to bring every night every minute there is no day off in the NBA...you should have gotten that in 7 years. Pau Gasol, way too much talent..you are a legitimate number one option in this league yet you play like you don't belong..no fire..no confidence, just out there..this is what lead to your initial trade at the season beginning and will lead to it at this season's end....Sessions, Blake, Barnes and definetly Ebanks..great choke job...now to our great leader Mr. Bean Bryant..once again a fabulous year stat wise...you carried the team and did what Kobe does...yet you felled to lead you felled to demand your team play at that elite level night in and night out, yet you tried to do it yourself..problem is yourself is 33..on 37 year old legs...its time to become that mental leader that on the floor coach and allow the young talent to produce and be held accountable..down the stretch you lost your pop, 4th quarter numbers tell the story..you shot us out of the same games you shot us into...crazy but its true...the only bright spots this year.  Well Metta welcome back to that defensive presence from past years...and Jordan Hill just phenomenal...welcome to the Lake Showwelc

Same sex marriage

First off, Who really cares?....seriously.  Homosexuality has been around since the beginning of time.  Longer than slavery and the civil rights movement, longer than the sufferage women's equal rights movement..etc..now minds were changed on these issues that were so fundamental to the functioning of American society.  What makes same sex marriage any different?  We haven't outlawed homosexuality, we have embraced it and encouraged self expression, and pushed for a more tolerant society.  So a civil union is ok, but dare not call it a marriage.  Crazy, marriage is just the business portion of the civil union people...if we have nothing to say about same sex people in a relationship, functioning as one...why is it our concern of their marital status.  This is for my closed minded, do as the pastor or party say, bible bookworm, out of touch individuals out there....MIND YOUR OWN DAMN BUSINESS.....

Truth...(a short something on real love)

The everyday perception, is a constant misconception, that I can control your mind with an erection..see your affection, needs my protection...and sex is a gift not a weapon....so pimps and whores excuse my corrections, they the only ones who need sex to survive..real life real love is above what's between your thighs...and I only sound bright cause in your light I shine.....Dig..( that's part one )...

Jeremy Lin

Ok, let me weigh in on this Lin-sanity craze....First and foremost let agree Jeremy Lin is a terrific basketball player, at 6'3", 6'4" and 200 something lbs...he has the build and with his veteran like poise has the demeanor to be a success, in a Dantoni, point guard friendly offense.  He thinks the game and excutes that's all you want out your point guard...and the numbers speak for themselves...great job Lin, good for the Knicks, now Floyd's comments about him being Asian and playing, dominating the way he does getting this extra exposure is like 45% right.  The avid basketball fan knows the if not first maybe second thing you thought was hey this guy is Asian (honestly)...the NBA itself behind closed doors push certain players because of their race, in order to grow a fan base in these new countries.  What he's doing on the court is good, but Steve Nash did those same things in Phoenix, in the same system...I don't knock his basketball prowess, I think the media has gone overboard, with his story though.  He sleeping on his brother's sofa, so what, that's clearly by choice.  He's a Harvard grad...how many current NBA players had nowhere to sleep, had to be taken in by strange families and friends...or parents were drug addicts or abusive, I mean the list is large, but because sadly these things are normal in American society..these don't get nearly the press of this Lin-sanity. When you get a chance check the Jimmie Butler or Demarcus Cousins story out just for starters..I am a basketball fan through and through...from NY but not a fan of the Knicks, I watched Lin play In college he was good then, I think with players like Lin, and Boyamo...and from all these other countries..the game of basketball has truely gone global, and we shouldn't ruin the movement by taking social issue and applying it to sports and recreation...so if you said in week one Lin is a great Asian basketball player you weren't wrong, if you said now in like week three Lin is a great basketball player you are not wrong.....

Congrats Jeremy Lin continued success, (except no more good games against the Lakers)...and to America...stop being so sensitive

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Today we celebrate one of the worlds greatest leaders; yet still a man, list of accomplishments and worldly imprint just Godly; yet still a man, I say this to say to my brothers and sisters do not look at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as a GOD who accomplished things no mortal could or should attempt; yet view him as a man who dared to dream, and act on that dream. During a time when nothing was given, but everything taken he stood stern in the forefront of his dream, so our dreams would be easier to obtain.  Ironically enough, we have developed this false sense of entitilment, in a time where much is given, and very little taken we have watched our dreams fade.  This fade is not of anyone's doing other than our owns.  We have began to expect less and demand less for and from our people, that's just pathetic.  It's smoothers the flame that burns from the efforts of so many before us ie The Great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr......A man who accomplishments by 30 far trumps any present day leader you may name.  At 34, delivered one of if not the most powerful speeches this world has ever known.  This was done on effort and faith, this was done on couraage and responsibility, this was done fortitude and manhood, this was done for you and me.  Now look at yourself and those around you and honestly evaluate what you are doing.  We can no longer say he/she is only this age.  We can no longer make excuses for the lazy, We can't wait for the meek to inherit.  We must act now to rescue this beautiful dream and end this self created nightmare

Message to the Flock

I am having a serious intellectual moment this morning, and I must choose my words carefully to express my point without disrespecting anyone's faith.  I am a faithful believer in a higher power, but not by any name other than Almighty, not by any particular form of worship other than a personal relationship...I can't sit here and Damn someone for their choice in worship, when at the end of the day we are traveling seperate paths, to the same eternal bliss.  My statement to the flock, Forgiveness doesn't have to be the only way to faith.  So many people find "Religion"...after a tragedy, or hitting rock bottom we like to say.  We begin to search for acceptance, redemption by shedding our past and draping ourselves in this new holy glow.  Defining ourselves through the visions of the clergy, and parishioners....Ok now pay attention, true change and true redemption only comes after you gain knowledge of self...in order to properly apply religion; Koran, Biblical instruction...to your everyday life you must understand that life.  These publications are words, these sermons are words, yet when applied to life with the proper understanding of that life it becomes Religious...you can't be pastor, deacon, father, prophet..etc..you are you,
